The Asia Regional Respectful Maternity Care (RMC) Council is a dynamic alliance of maternal health advocates from across the Asia-Pacific region. Together, we champion the cause of Respectful Maternity Care to ensure dignity, equity, and quality in maternal and newborn healthcare.

To unite, empower, and convene RMC advocates, fostering a movement dedicated to upholding the rights of all women and newborns to be healthy and have equitable access to respectful, safe, and dignified childbirth

Facilitate open dialogue among stakeholders for driving national and sub-national action to strengthen ownership and commitment to RMC initiatives
Advocate for Change
Lead the charge in addressing disrespect and abuse during childbirth while promoting initiatives that enhance respectful, high-quality reproductive, maternal, and newborn care.
